My Final Designs
Couture
This silk avant garde gown inspired my love for haute couture. The art of these garments is what makes them so unique, they draw the eyes of every audience. Within this gown, I wanted a structured corset top to allow for a strapless gown with a beautiful lacing up the back. The drapery of the skirt adds movement to the gown.
By using Adobe Illustrator I came up with the concept of a fully hand knitted open back halter dress paired with a micro tee. The micro tee was made of a stretch knit material that was scrap material from a small boutique in Boston. The hand knitwear was crafted from vintage yarn gifted from my Great Grandmother from the 1860s.

Menswear
My menswear was curated of full frayed and distressed denim. My style always has a feminine flare so I incorporated a cropped top and a bag within the look.
Tailoring
Within my education of the art of tailoring, I learned many techniques on how to construct a tailored garment. For this garment, I carefully manipulated 100% wool to create a long, collared coat with bosom pockets. 90% of this jacket was hand sewn and has a silky lining.
Tailoring suit jacket
A brown suit with pearl button, a project I did throughout the pandemic. This project definitely established some skills for my tailoring.
